Understanding the usage of each application at a glance - Triple-Play usage report (*)

The Triple-Play usage report gives a graphic view of the usage of IP phone (telephony), video streaming (entertainment), and data applications. A user can display the trend of the application distribution for a specified period of time.

Advanced Voice and Video Analysis using ClearSight

Support for a wide range of VoIP and streaming signaling protocols  

ClearSight Analyzer supports analysis of various signaling protocols including SIP, H.323, Cisco SKINNY, MGCP (TEXT,Binary), MEGACO, and RTSP. ClearSight Analyzer provides a ladder display of the communication sequences, call reports, alarms, and packet decode function.

The exchange of packets between multiple nodes, including telephone terminals and relay servers, is automatically grouped by call and displayed in the multi-point ladder view. The entire sequence from initiating the connection through to the conversation between telephones and disconnection can be viewed in real time (or from a trace file).

ClearSight Analyzer measures audio or video quality for each RTP stream and displays detailed statistical information as a result. MOS and R-Value are supported as QoS metrics for voice; VQFactor™ (*) and MDI are supported for video. Threshold values for alarms can also be set for these metrics. This enables a network manager to be notified of any degraded service quality.

(*)VQFactor™ is the video quality metric developed with ClearSight's patent pending algorithm.


VoIP Analysis and VoIP QoS Report

ClearSight Analyzer is a valuable VoIP testing tool, which makes it easy to troubleshoot VoIP and measure voice quality.


ClearSight Analyzer generates a QoS report for a VoIP call simply by selecting the desired call and clicking the [Report] tab.

The QoS report includes analysis of voice quality parameters (including packet loss, jitter, R-value, and MOS) stated as VQFactor™ and MDI for a video stream.

The reports are displayed graphically, and a rating with 0 to 5 stars is included in the report automatically.


T.38 FAX over IP Support

ClearSight Analyzer displays T.38 FAX statistical information in addition to packet decode, and will replay FAX contents. FAX contents can be exported in TIFF format if desired.


VoIP Call Log History Analysis

Included in the ClearSight Analyzer History Reporter module is a feature for reporting the history of all VoIP calls monitored by ClearSight Analyzer. This optional module extends ClearSight Analyzer as an analysis tool for improving speech quality.


VoIP Call Log Report(*)

All VoIP call information obtained by ClearSight Analyzer can be stored in a database, and a speech quality report on all calls during a specified period can be created.

Call Status Report

The numbers and percentages of various types of calls (successful, busy, rejected, failed) are given in this report.

Understanding the proportion of rejected and failed calls to all calls and tracking the times those calls are made helps you identify your problems.


MOS Summary Report

This report provides you with the maximum, minimum, and average MOS scores of all calls monitored by ClearSight Analyzer.

Monitoring calls over a long period of time enables you to find the baseline of your service level.


MOS Distribution

This report shows the distribution of MOS scores with bar graphs in a scale from 0 to 5.

With this graph, you can understand the variations in speech quality, which enables you to focus on calls with low MOS scores.


VoIP Call Log Browser(*)

You can extract call history (start time, caller, callee, MOS, duration) from the VoIP call log information stored in ClearSight Analyzer's history database based on specified conditions, and list the results in this report. Time range, call duration, and MOS value can be combined as extraction conditions. The extracted call log can be exported in CSV format, and can also be compiled in a separate spreadsheet program.

IPTV Analysis Solution

ClearSight Analyzer strongly supports the performance analysis and troubleshooting of video streams in IPTV environments with its IPTV analysis function.


Supporting ASF (Advanced Systems Format) including WMA and WMV.
Using MDI to measure IP networks for ensuring IP video quality.
Using the patented VQFactor™ to evaluate actual IPTV quality.
Presenting a IPTV channel zapping analysis graph (*), ClearSight Analyzer categorizes multicast streams under IPTV environments into each channel (S, G), and graphically show changes in the packet rate.

IPv6 Full Support

In environments where both IPv4 and IPv6 are used, statistical data is listed separately for both types
of IP packets. This provides an easy way to see what proportion of packets use IPv6.

Advanced functions such as real-time application flow analysis, ladder views, and content playback can be used in an IPv6 environment without any special setup.

You can specify filter settings for IPv6 addresses just as for IPv4 addresses. You can save IPv6 addresses in the address book and display them as host names within the ClearSight Analyzer.


ClearSight History Report(*)

(*)This feature is included in ClearSight Analyzer History Reporter optional module.


The report can be produced by accumulating real-time statistical data over specified time periods.
The save interval for historic data can be set in the range of 1 to 60 minutes.
The trend graph can be generated based on the report. Even multiple items can be selected at one time and displayed superimposed on the same graph.

MSN

Capture and restore MSN instant messages; play back audio and video. Set MSN filter and alarm thresholds easily.


Easy to use, Comprehensive Filter Functions - Real Time and Post Analysis

The filter menu in ClearSight supports not just simple address and protocol filters, but also filters based on application commands, IP subnets, data patterns, and other criteria.


Complex conditions can be specified with ease by freely adding and combining filter conditions using AND, OR, and NOT operators while viewing the setting panel.

Once specified, a filter definition can be saved with an assigned name, and then reused at a later time, during capture or trace file display.


The powerful reporter function in ClearSight Analyzer can collate statistics on items such as applications, servers, and network status, and use this information to generate standardized reports automatically.

The report can be customized as required.
The report can be saved in html, pdf, or rtf format using the export function.


ClearSight Packet Generator Option - PacketGen™

The ClearSight Packet Generator is an ideal traffic generator software package for use in network load testing and traffic reproduction testing.

Supporting packet mode when the same packet is sent repeatedly.

Supporting buffer mode, in which traffic captured from the actual network is reproduced on the network.

The software is available in two different forms: a simple-to-use standalone package and an optional module that incorporated into ClearSight Analyzer.
