i am in south fl. and i’ll be Fishing intercoastal and canals.the tide will be going out.
(Believe it or not), a 1/2 OZ Black, single blade, Bass fishing Spinnerbait can be "booyah" at night for a variety of Inshore fish. (I’ve caught plenty of Reds, Snook and Trout with a Strike King, Midnight Special S-bait- http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_15409____SearchResults )
Just make sure to tip the S-bait with a dark colored Berkley, Saltwater Gulp Curly-tail- http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_58013____SearchResults
At night, fish tend to find their prey through "vibration and sound" rather than sight. Slow-roll the S-bait around mangroves and obvious structure.
However, if your fishing under dock lights, a good lure would be a Rapala, HJ-10 Husky Jerk in Silver color- http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_2827____SearchResults
Husky Jerks "suspend" about 1-2FT under the water. Cast to a light and jerk the HJ until it suspends perfectly under a dock light. Let it sit in the light, and bump it gently along. Something will hammer it as it crosses from light to dark!
Make sure to juice all lures with a good Saltwater attractant.
Those 2 lures are my fav night-time Snook/Red/Spec Trout baits.
Hope this helps??
bait, swimming around, waiting for a shark to strike. Saw pictures on my facebook. God has something special for them I’m sure, but we need to stop this now.

I have a bunch of spoons that i have found swimming and they are rusty how can i shine these lures up again?
Try a toothbrush and toothpaste, really.
Or, instead of toothpaste try Naval Jelly rust remover (hardware store, Walmart), and a toothbrush.
Or, if you have a bench grinder with a buffing wheel try that, with naval jelly or toothpaste.
Seriously.
And if you shine them up but can’t catch fish, switch to worms, real ones. I have caught more fish in my life with worms than I ever have with lures or spoons.
People think it makes them look like they know what they’re doing. Wearing a silly hat with a shitload of Fishing "paraphernalia" really makes people think they’re pros. Oh yeah, you’re really a pro wearing that damn hat and casting a push-button reel on a spinning rod… a professional idiot!
Those hats have not just hooks, but dull BARBLESS hooks, flies, swivels, floats, and whatever else people think to put on them.
The smallest Fishing hook that I found. Have just bought because of the size. Does anyone knows for what fish this hook size for?
